Nikki Araguz

advertisement

Meet Nikki Araguz. She is the transgender widow of a Texas firefighter that was killed in the line of duty earlier this year. You may have seen her in the news since the greedy mother of the firefighter is now sueing her for the life insurance money and all the money from the estate of her dead son (talk about evil mother in laws... but that's something for another article). Many of the comments in other articles mention that she appears to be an attractive lady. So the reason I'm writing this poll is to find out what percentage of viners could or would be able to get past the fact that she was once a man and enter into a relationship with her.

For the sake of this poll, let's assume that she is very attractive to you (if you don't find her attractive, think of the most attractive woman you can think of and pretend like you found out she was formerly a man)... let's also assume that she has the perfect personality for you... now answer the poll.

Honestly, knowing would taint any appeal she might have for me. That being said, just looking at her as a female, she wouldnt be my first choice anyway. Not bad looking, but just a different look from my trade in fair as it were.

I am an over weight White Male over middle age, with a preference of Black and Asian Women. As long as the plumbing workes I really do not care what the original package was marked as. If he/she has the receptical, and I have a function plug, I really do not care about the replumbing needed to get to the functioning receptical.

No, I'm sorry but anyone who has XY chromosomes is still a guy in my book. You can screw with your body, but DNA is always still there.

So Kevin

If you were single and you meet this foxy looking women in a bar or an event and she showed every sign of wanting to get laid, you with your hyper sense of smell detected that she at one time was a male who for all outward and inward appearances was female you would mount your righteous high horse and say. Be gone Satan I smell your deception.

Yea right. If he/she did not tell you that he/she was a he/she and there was no way of knowing that he/she was in fact a he/she, you like most men would be depositing your sperm into he/she's bank. And if you deposited your sperm load into he/she's account and it was good, why would you finding out that her deposit was in fact a he/she's deposit box matter in the least.

For me if the plumping works and the he/she is of the racial and physical type that I desire, I really could not care. If the end result is that he/she could not become prego with my ofspring to me that would be a benefit.

Nah, I still see the difference between a faked up body and not.

You know, I don't even really like overly plastic-surgeried up women. Let alone men who go under the ultimate machine.

And also, unlike you, Mark, I actually care about what lies underneath the surface. I wouldn't go for a man who became a lady; I'd be even angrier if I find out he/she lied about it. Shows a total lack of integrity and disgusting behavior.

Mark-using your chain of thought, you wouldnt mind getting oral pleasure from a man or a woman.I think it makes a difference to most men.

Not so a man who medically becomes a women, is a women, legally physically. While I am not into man on man sex, I do not see the connection that a he/she is a he, while the majority of he/she's body is female.

Yet again Mark, you are only seeing what is on the VERY surface. At the core, in the DNA of the BODY - you could say the "majority" of his/her body, you will see XY chromosomes. Hence the majority is still male.

I think she's very pretty. She has a very regal face--you could photoshop her into any number of Victorian-era outfits and she'd look completely and utterly feminine.

The only masculine thing about her is the set of her shoulders and her neckline. Wait. Looking again, scrolling down a little so I can only look at her face. There's something about her hairline that reminds me of my brother.

So, no, I wouldn't hit it. But then, I like men. Wait. Shoot.

I guess I'm not the audience you were looking for, so I will eschew participating in your poll so as not to skew it unnecessarily.

At any rate, interesting question combined with the "remember to honor the COH" comment. ;p

I'm not sure she's VERY pretty, but she's certainly attractive enough.

She has a very regal face--you could photoshop her into any number of Victorian-era outfits and she'd look completely and utterly feminine.

I think she already looks feminine as-is. In the picture I see no adam's apple or giant hairy hands or anything like that so I probably wouldn't have any inkling that she was transgender from her outward appearance if I didn't already know from the news stories.

So, no, I wouldn't hit it. But then, I like men. Wait. Shoot.

I guess I'm not the audience you were looking for, so I will eschew participating in your poll so as not to skew it unnecessarily.

You could still answer it, just do so by thinking about a handsome man with a great personality who happened to have been born a girl.

At any rate, interesting question

I certainly thought so and was hoping someone else would seed such a poll after the story in the media (since most of my seeds end up somewhere deep in the catacombs never to be seen again), but since no one else did I guess I had to... let's hope there are at least enough people willing to vote in the poll to give some sort of accurate results for whether or not Viners could get past the whole gender reassignment thing for the person of their dreams.

combined with the "remember to honor the COH" comment. ;p

There are 4 guides who are ordinary Newsvine users who have shown, over the years, that they are dedicated to the site, to keeping it running the way the users like it, and to helping people navigate the Vine. My understanding is that they have no special powers, it is just a recognition for doing what they were already doing.

The original guides were announced here, and are Red Wolf, lauhal, and Viki Babbles Gonia. Rottlady has since been added to the list.

So would you be ok with a man that was born a woman? It would be biologically female skin!!

Anyhow, I haven't met Nikki, but from the pictures, she looks like she's got smooth feminine looking skin... probably from hormone treatments, though it might just be the result of laser hair removal... but thinking about any woman I've ever been with, if they didn't shave their legs every couple of days, it got pretty stubbly. I'm not sure it would be any different with a woman like Nikki.

Let me put it this way: I would definitely do a woman who dressed as a man, and even shaved her head. If however, she had hormone treatments, etc. and became more masculine, then no, that would probably turn me off at a certain point.

But I suppose I would have to agree with you. (*warning* - flip flop in progress) I could see it being possible that I could fall for what I assumed was a woman and later find out she is biologically male. Can't actually say what I would do when I found out.

Since I'm just going by the picture, there's something that I find unattractive about that person. Maybe I would have the same reaction, even if they were biologically female. Anyway, I see the point you're trying to make.

She still seems rather masculine for a woman, but I probably couldn't tell by just looking at her. That being said, she still has a Y-chromosome so, nope, I wouldn't. My standard for women involves high intelligence, a sense of humor, and two X-chromosomes.

That might not be the best analogy given the general sense I got from your post since most hailstones stay up the in the storm for some time, and the longer they stay up there the bigger the hail stone gets.

Women are hard enough to understand and drama is a part of most women's lives.

A woman without the drama... and I would have to assume without the PMS... sounds good to me. How is this not every guy's dream girl?

c'mon - drama is just something inherent in relationships (especially bad ones). Oftentimes it's the guy creating it, and the woman calling him on it. "She was on the rag" is the excuse used to try to cover up your (our?) thoughtlessness or bad behavior.

If I found out that a women I was attracted to had formerly been a man, it couldn't work out, because I'd know just from that very fact that the person had deep issues with who they were, aside from the fact that they were once a man. And truly, could you even consider that person truly a woman, and not just a mutilated man?

Well, kudos to you Ben, you're simply a lot more accepting than I am. If it works for you, roll with it. I'm perfectly alright with someone wanting to become the opposite sex, I just couldn't date them. As far as your question about breast implants, what I actually meant was that I'm attracted to women who are born women, not men who have transformed themselves as far as they can into women.

      #6.2 - Sat Jul 24, 2010 1:39 AM EDT

      1) I am turned off by breast implants; I'd rather have a 'small' girl who is comfortable and secure with her body than a girl that saw the need to do something as useless as make her boobies bigger. To be honest, I really don't care for size in the first place, but I do care for those that are insecure about it.

Most attractive women, before they stuff themselves with silicone, are pretty enough as is. Most unattractive women could work on (using relatively non-invasive techniques) their image to incredible degrees, if they just did a few simple things. Implants would not help.

      2) That said, men do not indiscriminately go for XX's, it's just a prerequisite for most of us. Of course we don't want women that think they are men, or act like men, or want to be treated exactly like a man attaching prosthetics to their body that we do not find attractive. Most of us are not attracted to exactly (to the tee) male figures since we like XX's. There is nothing contradictory about requiring an XY chromosome but not like female-to-male transgenders sexually.

Would I look down on a guy who would do her? Not at all.

Come to think of it, I was a pretty adventurous dude 30 years ago. If I were placed in this situation back then, and maybe there was some good weed involved, I can't say for sure that I wouldn't have taken the plunge.

I have seen men with women that I really think look quite masculine, but I assume they were indeed female. It seems to not bother anyone (here) as long as the person was born the sex that they portray. That would mean that we still want to punish ppl that feel they were born the 'wrong' sex and expect them to just suffer forever. that's not progress.

Since I have such a strong preference for natural breasts to implants, I find it unlikely I'd be able to deal with the modifications involved in such a partner. Me personally if I could not tell the difference while banging away and only found out later, I would base it simply upon how enjoyable it was to be banging away on her the night before;.

To me that would be the only question, did I enjoy the night before or not, if I did then who gives a fu?ck about the plubming. if he/she was lousy the night before then you have an out.

An interesting question for sure, and it is something I've pondered myself. I think I could get past it, after-all it is mostly the person inside that matters, and if the body looks right and attractive then I should be able to to understand and deal with it, but I am not certain and therefore chose the "maybe" option above.

For those who are adamant that it would be a complete turn off, have you seen Kim Petras? Check out the pictures before you read the story...

This s/he is way hotter than Mr. Mangina in the article.

German s/he pop start man-chick thing = yes

      Mr. Mangina above = no

      Thus it is law.

"She" really looks pretty good. I've seen a number of very hot transgenders.

As long as the works done, I'd say yeah, I'd hit it. If there's still "outdoor plumbing" ,sorry, but not a chance.

Not that I'm proud of it boys and girls, but when I was a sailor I spent no small amount of time in San Diego, CA. aboard the aircraft carrier U.S.S. Ranger. I liked to shoot pool, drink beer, and meet and f@(k pretty women.

As some of you men may know, the amount of beer ingested has a proportional effect on the attractiveness of the women you see.

At Green's 4th Street Tavern, I met a buxom woman with big green eyes, long red hair, a set of parabolas that would cause cardiac arrest in a yak, great legs and the sweetest little ass you ever saw double of.

After some very small talk, we went to my hotel room (for I never went out on liberty without first securing suitable lodgings) and the inevitable ensued.

It was great for both of us, at least as far as I could tell.

      Come the morning, she arose.

First, the eyelashes came off, then the beautiful red hair, the green contacts followed. When she took out her teeth, I was getting a little worried. But the t!ts were hers along with the cute ass. In fact, in the shower, she looked good enough for me to make absolutely certain that her p^ss* was as tight as I thought it was the night before.

Honestly now, women keep some secrets, but something tells me that Nikki wouldn't be so bad.

      Now that's funny!

Truth is, I like intelligent women. So O'Dumbell would lose over the transsexual.

Well I'm sure we'd all like to beat some sense into her... but that's just not legal in this country.

At least her IQ would still improve.
